Waterscapes
Water has always held a quiet mystery, a place where light dances, reflections shift, and life unfolds just beneath the surface. In my painting of lily pads in a pond, I seek to capture this fleeting interplay of color, movement, and serenity. The stillness of the water contrasts with the ever-changing reflections, while the lily pads—floating yet rooted—symbolize resilience and balance.
Through layers of paint, I explore the tension between depth and surface, the way shadows ripple beneath the pads and sky dissolves into water. Each brushstroke is an observation of nature’s delicate harmony, a meditation on the spaces between light and dark, fluidity and form. For me, this piece is more than a study of nature—it is an invitation to pause, to look closer, and to find a sense of calm within the the world.
